Two friends, John Juniper and Jeff Solorio, founded DITA in Los Angeles during 1995. Their goal was to design innovative eyewear with a unique look and feel. DITA eyewear perfectly combines edgy and elegant with an East meets West style.

All frames from DITA are handmade in Japan from the highest quality of titanium, 18K gold, white gold, and acetates.

Thomas Burberry, a young dressmaker, founded Burberry in 1856. Thomas was only 21 years old when he opened his first store on Winchester Street, Basingstoke. In 1879, Thomas Burberry invented gabardine, a tightly woven weatherproof fabric, which revolutionized rainwear and led to the invention of the classic Burberry trench coat. Burberry introduced eyewear to its collection in 2006 during its 150th anniversary. The optical collection from Burberry has a variety of classic rectangular and round frames with a contemporary London twist. Alessandro Lanaro founded MODO in 1990 in Soho, New York. MODO has evolved into a global company that designs, manufactures, and distributes portfolios of house brands, designer brands, and contemporary lifestyle brands.

New York, Milano, and Stockholm city life inspire the MODO eyewear collection. Frames are designed with the goal of providing seamless functionality with minimalist aesthetic.

MODO’s signature collections include the Paper-thin Titanium, Metal Core Acetate, Block Titanium, and Super-Thin Acetate lines.

A frame from the Paper-Thin Titanium collection only weighs 6.8 grams and is made from material just 0.6mm thick. The Metal Core Acetate collection uses complex state-of-the- art machinery to create the thinnest, strongest, and most stable acetate frame available. The memory metal titanium allows the temples to always return back to its original shape if accidentally flexed, bent, or twisted.
